Our partner is currently looking for an Automation Tester to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of their systems. 
 

Job requirements

Must have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer;
  • Solid automation experience with Core Java/Python Selenium, Webdriver;
  • Experience in Rest Assured/ Karate, API Testing, Cucumber, BDD methodology and Gherkin syntax;
  • Experience in implementation of OOPS concepts in automation frameworks;
  • Good Understanding of REST API types (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE);
  • Good understanding of HTTP, JSON protocol and syntax;
  • Good understanding of Message Schema, RAML/OAS Specifications, and Message Request- Response mechanism;
  • Working experience in Agile methodology/SAFe with ‘in-sprint’ automation;
  • Good at English.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding of STUB/Service virtualization;
  • Understanding of cloud-based architecture (preferably AWS);
  • Understanding of any API testing tools like – POSTMAN, Rest Client, Anypoint, etc;
  • Been able to understand Retail Banking functions/requirements;
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes and Docker capabilities;
  • Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Use test automation guidelines and participate in planning activities. 
  • Research issues in software through testing. 
  • Collaborate with QA Analyst and Software Developers. 
  • Improve release cycle times by reducing regression testing time. 
  • Fully cover tests and design test cases clearly for different types of systems and tests. 
  • Design and develop automated test scripts over different platforms. 
  • Be responsible for test automation framework design and architecture on medium complexity solutions.
