We are searching for a Product and Member Security Engineer to enhance our client's team capabilities. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with product and engineering teams to fortify our client's websites, mobile applications, and B2B interfaces. You will drive efforts to integrate security throughout the development life cycle, conduct thorough assessments, and respond to security incidents with precision.
 

Job requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in security engineering with a focus on web and mobile applications;
  • Proficient understanding of application security principles, OWASP, CWE, and secure coding practices;
  • Expertise in security assessment tools and methodologies;
  • Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies;
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field;
  • Fluency in English.
     

Responsibilities

  • Build security into the development lifecycle of websites, mobile applications and B2B interfaces, working closely with product management and engineering teams;
  • Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigative actions;
  • Develop and implement security policies, best practices, and standards for product development;
  • Ensure secure software development practices and security awareness by working with cross-functional teams;
  • Keep the systems resilient and up to date by monitoring security trends, emerging threats, and industry best practices;
  • Investigate, respond to, and remediate security incidents and breaches;
  • Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a culture of security within the organization;
  • Deliver security training to development and product teams.
     

Extra skills

  • Security certifications (CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, etc.);
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android security, and B2B security considerations;
  • Development experience and/or knowledge of code.
