Pentalog is in search of a dedicated Compliance Officer to play a pivotal role in enhancing our client’s security and compliance strategy. The selected candidate will be instrumental in developing and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS) that meets ISO 27001 standards. This position offers the chance to work closely with our client’s security, product, and technical teams to address compliance gaps, manage risk, and ensure legal conformity in a dynamic cloud environment.
 

Job requirements

  • At least 6+ years of experience on a similar position;
  • Proficiency in Confluence/Jira;
  • Experience in environments where compliance and cybersecurity policies were crucial;
  • Familiarity with cloud service providers, with a preference for GCP;
  • Experience with risk management frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or ISO 31000;
  • Understanding of data laws, including GDPR;
  • Basic knowledge of software and network security and development; 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; 
  • Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the security and compliance team to develop and uphold an Information Security Management System (ISMS) in line with ISO 27001 standards;
  • Offer expertise on legal compliance issues, including global cloud strategies, hosting, Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and GDPR requirements;
  • Coordinate with teams across the company to ensure the ISMS documentation is comprehensive and up to date;
  • Conduct risk assessments, manage internal audits, and contribute to external audits;
  • Provide training on compliance framework aspects and legal compliance issues.

Extra skills

  • Certification in ISO 27001;
  • Experience in automated security and compliance solutions.
