As a JDE CNC Administrator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne system. You will manage the technical aspects of the JDE system, ensuring it operates at its best performance, stability, and security levels.
 

Job requirements

  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and French communication; 
  • Demonstrated experience as a JDE CNC Administrator or in a similar role; 
  • In-depth knowledge of the architecture and components of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system;
  • Proficiency in JDE tools, such as Server Manager, Object Management Workbench (OMW), and Configuration Manager;
  • Expertise in JDE security administration and managing user access;
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases;
  • Familiarity with system monitoring tools and performance tuning techniques;
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team;
  • Willingness to work outside regular business hours for system maintenance and upgrades, if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and upgrade JDE EnterpriseOne software components, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams for seamless integration;
  • Perform routine system administration tasks, including user access management, security configuration, and proactive monitoring for performance and data integrity;
  • Monitor the JDE system and troubleshoot any performance issues or errors, collaborating with IT support and vendors as needed;
  • Manage system changes, ensuring proper testing and validation before implementation to minimize disruptions;
  • Maintain up-to-date system documentation and contribute to training materials for enhanced system knowledge;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical support, and help resolve user-reported issues.
