We are continuously growing and now looking to add another colleague to our Agile Service Desk team in Pentalog Chisinau.

As a Service Desk Support Specialist, you will be responsible for all phases of operations for the internal IT Service Desk. While reporting to the regional Service Desk manager, you will also work closely with other members of the IT group. Your main job will be to support remote all end-users, in their day-to-day computer hardware and software needs.

Your mission:

  • Provide technical guidance for the company’s employees/customers in activities associated with identifying, prioritizing and resolving problems via telephone, chat and e-mail;
  • Provide support by acting as a liaison between customer and the departments within the organization;
  • Ensure that all on-line system problems are resolved in an accurate and timely manner;
  • Take ownership of user Incidents and follow up on the status of Incidents, on behalf of the user, while communicating progress in a due time;
  • Escalate unresolved calls to the relevant Resolver Group;
  • Support the purchasing process and interact with external vendors/ service providers;
  • Provide stats for the weekly Service Desk report on call trends and service management;
  • Inform customers of outages, known errors and resolution progress;
  • Assist in updating the technical information database, the Service Desk knowledge base, Service Desk workflow and procedures;
  • Ensure Key Metric’s and SLAs are met and service is delivered as expected.

Your job requirements:

  • Experience in providing support to users/ customers;
  • Proven experience with- and understanding on how computers work;
  • Basic IT knowledge:
    • Familiarity with Windows 7-10, Mac OS X, Linux Ubuntu;
    • MS office, Office 365;
    • Basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills;
  • Ability to communicate problems/ issues in a non-technical manner;
  • Analytical thinking and task performing;
  • Ability to work in a time-pressured and demanding environment;
  • A hands-on, results driven person, willing to take initiative;
  • Focus on time management and organization skills while multitasking;
  • Highly motivated, with a desire to learn new things;
  • A pro-active team player;
  • Fluency in English and (optional) French.
